Tianjin Port Situation Week 16
From April 1 to April 12, A total of 21 trains were dispatched from Tianjin Port to the Erlian / Zamyn-Uud direction.
At the Tianjin railway station, there is a backlog of approximately 2,600 TEU (around 1,300 containers) waiting to be transported to Mongolia.
A total of 200 containers were transported from Tianjin Port by truck (truck-mode).
After arriving in Tianjin, containers are waiting for approximately 20–25 days, with an additional 5 days required for transportation to Zamyn-Uud.
Congestion is occurring at major ports in Southeast Asia. As a result, large volumes of cargo are being delayed at transshipment points, causing significant disruptions to vessel schedules.
Rising fuel prices have significantly increased operating costs in the logistics sector. In response, carriers have begun implementing freight rate increases and emergency fuel surcharges across multiple trade lanes.
